History
1988
Hietarahti Oy established in Finland by Timo Akela to manage shipyard logistics in Helsinki.
1991
HR-Express Oy starts daily Helsinki–Tallinn transport — the beginning of the Baltic logistics network.
1993–2001
Rapid expansion across the Baltics: Estonia (1993), Latvia (1996), Lithuania (1997), Sweden (1998), Poland (2001).
2017
Second generation takes over. The founder's children assume leadership of the HRX companies, continuing the family ownership model.
2023–2025
Deliveries to Denmark and Germany begin. Kuljetus Transpori Oy joins the group. Network now spans 8 countries.
Today
420 employees, 215 vehicles, >24,000 m² of terminal space. ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified.
